Transitions Lifestyle Makes A Difference

Transitions is changing my life. I started this program at the beginning of April to lose some weight and have support from a team. However I am noticing I am losing weight, but my overall health is also improving.

I started with a 7 day detox and gave up caffeinated drinks that week. At first I thought I would have headaches and feel sick as my body detoxes, but I never felt sick or got a headache. Since everyone else I talked to had these problems, I thought I might not be doing it correctly. I did do it correctly and my body adjusted nicely. During the 7 day detox, I ate vegetables and fruit, and drank lots of water.

What I have noticed is that my body no longer wants lots of sweets or caffeinated drinks. I did have one coke a week later and found that the coke gave me a headache. I never thought too much about what I ate because I had such a high metabolism when I was younger. Now that I am older my metabolism has slowed down and I have gained weight, which was never a problem before.

Two years ago I had a heart attack, and was given lots of medicine. What I am working to do is get off the medicines and get my body healthy by having a healthy lifestyle. Transitions is helping me achieve this goal.

My body is changing in many ways. I have lost 7 of the 20 pounds I want to lose and I am eating more vegetables, lean proteins, and fruits. I am also drinking more water. I have more energy. My metabolism is increasing, and I am enjoying the changings with excitement.
